Polgoon Aval (Methode Traditionelle)
At last it’s ready, and after much work to get it as we wanted, Polgoon Aval is a sparkling cider made in the methode traditionelle of secondary fermentation in the bottle. This method has been used by the French in their production of their finest sparkling wines!!.
This has given us a light sparkling refined drink which can be taken as an aperitif, with lunch, with fish any light meal in fact.
To serve we recommend it is well chilled and best served in champagne flutes.
Why Aval?? Well its the Cornish word for Apple. So what better name for a Cornish drink made from Apple!

Uncorked the bottlle we brought home from our recent visit and enjoyed it last night in Cleveland, Ohio, with a traditional summer pork barbecue. A delightful summer change-of-pace.
Two questions. What is the ABV? And can you ship to the US?
We treated ourselves to a bottle of Polgoon Aval and drank it the other eveing in the late summer sunshine. It was absolutely delicious and a real credit to the quality and craftsmanship of your efforts. I hope it gets the praise it deserves - a drop of it also worked wonders in pepping up some homemade apple sauce with our roast pork last Sunday. Keep up the good work.

Not only delicious for special meal at home…but made a Super Special gift for my friend from Hook Norton`s “?0 Birthday!”
Said I wouldn`t mention her AGE.
Makes a surpburb (hic) gift.
Cheers!
I love your Aval, it’s a wonderful drink, and I make sure I’ve always got a few bottles in the fridge, and in the wine rack. Infact I buy it now instead of Champagne, half the price and twice the flavour and we’re supporting local business. I’ve also just noticed it in the window of Wholefoods in Kensington - a fab display, well done.
