Best still Rose 2007
Kim and John Coulson accepting the Waitrose Trophy at the House of Lords.
Polgoon has just scooped the Waitrose Trophy for the best still rose in the UK Vintners Association 2007 competition. Our 2006 Rose received comments such as’ good body, satisfying, balanced, raspberry and strawberry!’ from the 5 judges, all Masters of Wine. We were extremely privileged to be invited to the awards ceremony at the House of Lords to collect our trophy from Lord Montague of Beaulieu. It was an amazing day made even better by winning a silver award as well as the Waitrose trophy amongst such tough competition. A real achievement for our first year! Thank you to everyone who has helped us over the last 4 years.
Photos and info about where you can buy our wine to follow soon.

Just tasted at bottle at the Bake House Restaurant in Penzance (great restaurant!) and really enjoyed the wine. Most of it had disappeared before the starter arrived! Its easy to understand why it won the prize! Keep up the good work!
Best wishes for your future success!
Just arrived home after visiting Penzance - had a taster of your rose at Chapel Street. Can you tell me where we could buy some please.
Many thanks.
